Questions parents ask
- Is there a free trial?
- Yes. Your first week is free: every lesson, drill and mock exam. Cancel in the App Store before the week ends and you pay nothing.
- How much is it?
- You'll see the price in the App Store, in your currency, before you pay anything. You pay through Apple, so you can cancel any time in your Apple account settings.
- Is it safe for my child?
- We ask before the microphone is ever used, we never save lesson audio, there's no chat with other people and no ads. Your child reads their full lessons; you get a summary. How we keep children safe
- Which subjects and ages?
- GCSE, A Level and the SAT, across all the main UK exam boards. Students aged 13 and over can sign up themselves. Younger children join through a parent or their school.
- How much time with Ace do we get?
- Each child gets two hours of lessons with Ace every week. If they need more, you can top up in the app.
- Is Ace a real person?
- No. Ace is an AI tutor. It's made to be kind and patient, but AI can get things wrong now and then, so Examzi works best alongside teachers.
- Do we need an iPhone?
- You start in the Examzi app on iPhone or iPad. Once your family has an account, you can also sign in on a computer at app.examzi.com.
- Can I cancel?
- Yes, any time in your Apple account settings. You keep access until the end of the time you have paid for.
